A lot of organizations will give you a recap of the year in December. For us, it's been a wild ride that culminates with our board game arriving in the hands of most of our backers!

We hope that our rescue partners are finding our resources helpful to your efforts, and definitely as a useful fundraising tool. We are pulling together more materials and plan to be your companions through another year of adventures together.

These are the upcoming global hashtags and trends that I hope will inspire some of our rescue partners in their content creation this month. #PetSuffocationAwarenessWeek - As challenging as it is, there are still challenges that we can help educate the general public about. Keeping things like this in the forefront help make more informed and responsible pet owners.

DECEMBER DAY CELEBRATIONS & GLOBAL HASHTAGS

Dec 2: #NationalMuttDay - Again? Yes! I guess there's two of them this year?

Dec 4: #NationalSockDay - Well, who doesn't love socks? But did you also know that if a pup gets lost and they cannot find their way home, you can put smelly socks next to water and the pup will be able to use the familiar scent to find their way home?

Dec 9: International Day of Veterinary Medicine - A big day, and I know many of our rescue partners partner with organizations around the world. Thank you again to all of our veterinarian resources around the globe!

That's what we've found for this upcoming month of December!

1. NO COST TO JOIN. NO COST TO SIGN UP TO JOIN THE PACK.

2. Dogs BOND will take a portion of our direct sales and donate them to our partner rescues, divided equally. No matter what size or where you are located we will donate towards your organization.

FUNDRAISE with Dogs BOND

1. We have created a very simple affiliate marketing system, where rescue organizations can simply share a URL with their audience and use Dogs BOND as a fundraising tool. Rescues get a % donation of these sales that are directly attributed to them.

2. If a rescue would like to purchase multiple copies of Dogs BOND for upcoming raffles / auction type fundraisers, we will work with them on a wholesale price.

REFER Friendly Local Game Shops - Get Donations from Retail Purchases

1. Use our pre-written email templates and share Dogs BOND with the board game shops in the area you cover. If a Re-tailer (get it?) makes a purchase from us based on your recommendation we will attribute the sale to your organization.

2. Have them send us an email to info@dogsbondgame.com to verify they are a brick-and-mortar business. Sorry, no online retailers at this time.

Get Donations Through More Partners

1. If you know any of the above mentioned content creators, we'd love to work with them. We will work with all parties to create a win-win-win arrangement where the content creators can choose your rescue can raise funds for you!

2. We developed an entire Dogs BOND media room for media outlets and content creators to check out our project and fundraise on your behalf.

IDENTIFY Virtual Online Game Conventions - Get the Word Out

1. If you hear about a board game happening virtually please let us know! We're especially practiced at Discord online conventions now!

And just like that it was December. I hope everyone is happy and healthy; getting together with friends and family we haven't seen in a long time.

We completed the custom URLs for each rescue in the pack, that way we can ensure that any sales from our products are attributed to the individual rescues on your virtual stores. Of course, if someone purchases the game or our products through www.dogsbondgame.com directly, we'll be dividing those out amongst all of the rescues - that way all participating rescues will get something no matter their size.

MONTH & WEEKS OF NOVEMBER GLOBAL HASHTAGS

Week of December 1: #PetSuffocationAwarenessWeek

As we are all pulling together and making many purchases, we sometimes forget that our four-legged friends don't read the packaging that bags are not toys. Share the awareness to remind people that they need to be cautious about where they put their shopping bags this week and even this month!

DECEMBER DAY CELEBRATIONS & GLOBAL HASHTAGS

Dec 2: #NationalMuttDay (again). That's right, another day to celebrate our Mutts. The Mutts that we don't know what exactly their breed makeup might be and they've gotten some of the best and worst traits from whatever their breeding. But we love them all the same, and we work just that much harder to give them good homes.

Dec 4: #NationalSockDay. What dog doesn't love a good sock to chew? Take a photo of some dogs with socks on. Socks in their mouths. Or maybe a giant stocking above a fireplace with their name on it?

Dec 9: International Day of Veterinary Medicine. No official hashtag for this one. For me it's important because, now that I'm living in Ghana, I've learned the level of healthcare that animals get is quite different depending on where you go. Take time to celebrate any international partners you may have!

Dec 17: #NationalUnderdogDay. Okay, this is totally us. We were underdogs on Kickstarter, and with all the folks who didn't exactly see us succeeding - we definitely showed them. Share with us your underdog tales!
